Innovations are continuously taking place in the ICT space so you need to stay aware of tools and applications that could be of use to you.

A trading company that sells office supplies had a large outdoor sales team that would visit companies all day taking orders for various office supplies. Some of the sales teams would take tablets to the clients to show them the products and others would take their laptops. The sales team would then come back to the office and input on the CRM tool their forecasting and sales prospects.
The IT manager started to realize that as the team grows, there is a need for standardization of products so that it would be easier to manage and fix problems. it would also be important for the company to offer the ability for sales staff to input their forecasting in a simple way from anywhere and thus a cloud based solution would be optimal.
It would appear that we have reached the limits of what it is possible to achieve with computer technology, although one should be careful with such statements, as they tend to sound pretty silly in 5 years. John von Neumann
