Everything you need to know about the SME Empowerment Program

SMEEP is a free program that guides startups and small and medium businesses through a step by step process on how to increase their sales and reduce their costs by digitizing their business. The program aspects include learning, planning, and implementing the digitization plan.

The program is open for all entrepreneurs, business owners, business leaders, and any top-level manager in startups and small and medium businesses.

Participants will benefit from a great learning opportunity, through self-service online training which will offer expert guidance on the process of digitizing your business. Webinars and coaching sessions will also be held for you to enhance your learning and planning further.

The program is open for all countries and nationalities all over the world.

The program is free of charge to all participants.

Participants from previous rollouts are welcomed to register again and benefit from the program.

Registration to the program is simple and straightforward. On the home page, you could find a registration form on the top, enter your full name, email address, and phone number, then generate a strong and memorable password and click on the 'Register Now' button. You'll be redirected to the first unit of the core course, 'Evolve your business'. Complete this course by watching the videos and answering all related questions, then go to your dashboard to check your rewards and additional materials.

Participants from previous rollouts are welcomed to register again and benefit from the program.

We provide program materials in two languages: Arabic and English. You can access the website and switch the language you prefer in the header.

The core course in the SME Empowerment program is "Evolve Your Business" that consists of 8 units, all participants are required to go through this course and submit their answers for the questions inside for them to be eligible for the program rewards and benefits. Additional courses are courses provided by Potential.com and international partners as additional resources and materials in the program.

Submitting the action plan is not mandatory but recommended to be able to get free coaching sessions, collect more points and unlock special deals and discounts on services and products from the marketplace.

You can sign in using your email and generated password to edit/complete your answers to the action plan questions. Note that the multiple-choice questions could not be edited after you submit them.

You can type in N/A for the questions that you don't see it applicable to your business.

Once you finish the core course at unit 8 and answer all the action plan questions, a message with "Generate your action plan" button will appear in the page. Click on this button and download your action in pdf format.

For each course you've completed, core or additional courses, you could download your certificate of completion at the end of each course after passing the posttest with 80%+ correctly. Note that the core course doesn't include a post test and you could download your certificate after answering all the questions included in the course.

To delete your account in the program, you should send an email, using your registered email address, to sme@potential.com and we could delete it on your behalf.

To reset your password, go to the main page, click on Login then Forget Password. Enter the email that you've registered with and submit the form. You will receive an automatic email from the system with a generated password. Please make sure to check your Junk folder and mark our email as a safe sender so you receive the latest updates from the program too.

You collect points for every learning material you finish in the platform. For example, in the core course, when submitting you're the action plan, you collect 10 points, when you finish the unit, you collect another 10 points. The sum of all points gained after finishing the core courses is 150 points. Same thing applies for all additional courses in the program.

You could click on the "Dashboard" tab in the header, where you could see your profile and additional materials. In your dashboard, you could redeem your points with an expert session or special discounts for the marketplace.

At the top of your Dashboard, you could check how many points you have gained and redeem these points.

We put together some special offers and packages designed specifically for SMEs with discounted prices offered for the program participants. The offers are provided by Potential.com and international leading partners in the SME Empowerment Program.

You can use your collected points to redeem a free session with an expert that you could choose from the list. You need 150 points to unlock an expert session.

It isn't necessary, but we recommend that you attend the webinars.
