SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING:

If you are planning to pursue higher education, then we encourage you to participate in our Ford Driving Dreams essay contest, which provides college scholarships in the amount of $2,000. At Ford, we believe that no dream is too big or too small, and we want to know about yours. Our course will guide you to write an essay (500 words approximately) describing your dreams, how you plan to achieve them and how they will positively impact others. The essay you submit will ultimately place you in the scholarship contest, so we want to make sure you put your best foot forward when writing your piece. Consider the Essay Contest path a platform serving as your very own personal tutor to help you land scholarship funding and enroll in your dream school.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP FUNDING:

If you are an aspiring entrepreneur who has big dreams of starting your own company/organization and/or delivering a viable product to consumers, FDD’s “Building Your Dream Business” path is here to help. If you have an idea but don’t know where to start, Ford Driving Dreams provides free courses to get you to your launching point (and beyond!). Our modules will help you develop an operable business plan, which will enable you to confidently and preparedly present your pitch when the opportunity arises. You’ll learn how to develop your product and/or service sustainably and in ways that meet environmental, regulatory and other guidelines you may not have considered. From there, we’ll help you piece together your action plan and create logistical next steps for executing your idea. Consider the Entrepreneurship Competition path a platform serving as your very own professional mentor to help you start that business you’ve been dreaming about.
