These are the guidelines that you should follow:
  1. Brief intro
  2. Desired goals
  3. Measurable objectives
  4. Deliverable outcomes

My name is Sara, and I am here to guide you to help you plan the business of your dreams. Watching my videos will help you put your goals and objectives on paper, which will also place you in the Ford Driving Dreams Entrepreneurship Contest.
In this video, you will learn about pitching your business idea.
The most important part of your pitch is the idea. The idea itself should resolve a problem that your target customers are facing or fill a void currently in the marketplace. Your opportunity should also excite them!
These are the guidelines that you should follow:
  1. Brief intro: Identifying the problems that need resolving. For example:
    • Problem: “Diesel generators are causing lots of noise and polluting the area around it.”
    • Solution: “Solar powered generators are the answers to sustainable, low-cost and reliable energy sources."
  2. Desired goals: You must identify the goals behind your business plan; what do you plan on achieving? Is it to eliminate pollution on a small scale? Or help those in need?
  3. Measurable objectives: Objectives are more or less a promise to achieve a certain goal or task during a certain period of time. For example, “My product should be affordable for people within different age groups and should encourage them to recycle more often.”
  4. Deliverable outcomes: Your deliverable outcomes should be in a tangible form; they are usually the things that would enable you to produce your product or meet an objective.
Pitching for the first time? Start with your story.
Here is what to pay attention to when writing your pitch:
