Students seeking entrepreneurship funding will receive a free, online business development course and will be asked to ultimately submit a pitch outlining how they plan to build the business of their dreams. The best pitches will demonstrate a clear dream for the future with emotional substance, a passion for helping others and giving back to the community, and an understanding of the importance of an opportunity.

In addition, you will be asked to attach your official or unofficial high school transcript, as well as a resume or a list of extracurricular activities. Entrepreneurship contestants, you will need to provide a short description of how you plan to use the Ford Driving Dreams funding to help build your business, as well as designate a school-employed “Project Advisor,” who can verify and supervise these spending plans. Scholarship contestants, you will need to submit one letter of recommendation.
